The Heroic Age ushers in a brighter Marvel Universe and a bold new era for the world's greatest super heroes. As they emerge from darkness with a renewed sense of hope and optimism, the formation of all-new teams begin with all new members... and brand new characters!
Spider-Man: Living back with Aunt May in the old Forest Hills home, Peter has been re-united with his old friend Harry Osborn, and is back taking pictures of Spider-Man to make ends meet. Spider-Man has also returned to using web-shooters, rather than his own self-generated organic webbing and is now a member of the Avengers.
Captain America: A new Captain America for a new generation of heroes, the presumed-dead James "Bucky" Barnes has returned from years of isolation as the Winter Soldier to carry on his former mentor's legacy.
Iron Man: With the Superhuman Registration Act repealed, Tony is given back his company and armory. Tony then bilds a new armor (the Bleeding Edge) with the help of Mister Fantastic. Later, Tony announces that he will form a new company, Stark Resilient.
Thor: With the Superhuman Registration Act repealed, Thor joins the rebranded Avengers as the team came to his aid to combat Norman Osborn and his DarkAvengers during the battle for Asgard. Asgard and the Avengers agree to help each other if one is attacked.
