Tyreese: Former pro football player Tyreese was traveling with his daughter when he joined Rick's group, and her loss hardened him. Like Rick, he is not above taking matters into his own hands, and they share a mutual respect.

Prison Michonne: Michonne first came across Rick's group when they were living in the prison, and was glad to become part of a group. She helped defend the prison from attack, and has stuck by Rick in his search for a place to call home.
